Registration for 23rd Academic Consultation of the Societas Oecumenica in Utrecht, the Netherlands, 21-25 August 2026

Registration is open from 30 March until 31 May 2026.
Please answer all the questions. Mandatory questions are marked with an asterisk (*).

3. Day Pass:

If you would like to participate in the program only on a specific day, please select below. The Day Pass fee is 40€/per day and includes group meals (if scheduled in the program) and small snacks during coffee breaks.

4. Afternoon excursion

Sunday 23 August (included in the registration fee).
The excursion will start with a tour through the Museum Catharijneconvent, the museum of religious art in Utrecht. After this, you can choose one between three options:
- Religious History of Utrecht guided walking tour – explore the city’s rich ecclesiastical past with a Dutch church historian.
- Utrecht Underground walking tour – a different perspective, focusing on homelessness in the city. Led by guides with personal experience on the streets, this tour takes participants to locations in Utrecht’s city centre that are significant in the daily lives of people without a fixed home.
- Boat tour of Utrecht – experience the city from the water, sailing along its characteristic canals and wharf cellars while enjoying views of historic buildings.

8. Arrival and departure

Please let us know your arrival and departure dates and times, and your mode of transportation (train, bus, plane, etc.). The consultation will begin on August 21 with an opening lecture at 4 p.m. and end on August 25 with lunch at 1 p.m.

Please transfer the money to our e-mail address societasoecumenica@gmail.com. Please ensure that no fees are charged for the transfer and that we receive the full participation fee. Otherwise, we will invoice you for the missing amount.

I will pay directly to the bank account of Societas Oecumenica. Payment must be made at the time registration. If you do not pay the registration, your boking will be removed from system within two weeks of your registration or one week after the official registration has closed, whichever comes first.

12. Cancellation policy

By registering, I agree to the following cancellation policy
Full refund of the participation fee until June 30, 2026.
50% refund of the participation fee until July 31, 2026.
No refund possible after July, 31, 2026.

Financial support: If you are from a Middle or East European country you can apply for subsidies. Please, contact our treasurer Agnes Slunitschek: agnes.slunitschek@uni-wuerzburg.de.
Data protection: During the registration process, your personal data will be collected and processed, as we will need your name, title, email address, and institutional affiliation to manage your registration and participation in the Consultation.
The legal basis is §6,1 (b) GDPR. In so doing, your information will be shared with the Standing Committee of Societas Oecumenica and the third parties who will be providing entertainment and other services. Societas Oecumenica will neither sell nor disclose your personal data to any other third parties without your consent. You are entitled to access any personal data about you held by Societas Oecumenica by sending a written request to Robert Svatoň via email at robert.svaton@upol.cz. We will delete the data needed for the registration management two years after the end of the Consultation. You are also entitled to have Societas Oecumenica modify or delete any information that you believe to be incorrect or out of date.
